Sindh TV news channel was not playing in Sindh due to KTN news channel, but now due to the Election 2007 has given a chance to Sindh TV news channel to boost it up in Sindhis. Because peoples want to know all news about preparation of election in different cities of Sindh. The is golden chance for Sindh TV to become a better channel and boost the viewer ship among Sindhis. Also has a chance to gain popularity at this time. Now in almost all cities of Sindh both Sindhi news channel playing by cable operators if Sindh TV not get popularity and sympathies of Sindhis then the channel never become a successful Sindhi news channel.

Sindhi Actor Shafi Mohammad passes away sad news for Sindhi TV viewers

Shafi Muhammad Shah

Veteran television actor Shafi Mohammad Shah died peacefully in his sleep at his Clifton home on Saturday evening. He was 58. Mr Shah, who leaves behind his widow, four daughters and a son, suffered from a liver condition. His death is being attributed to liver failure. Born in Kandiaro, he had his early education in Hyderabad. He obtained a postgraduate degree from the University of Sindh. Mr Shah honed his acting skills by taking part in plays broadcast by the Hyderabad radio station. He later moved to Karachi and performed in over 500 television dramas in the Urdu and Sindhi languages. PTV play �Urta Asman,� directed by late Shahzad Khalil, had his debut performance. He earned accolades for his acting skills in many plays, especially �Chand Girahan�, �Dairey�, �Aanch�, �Bund Gulab� and �Mohabbat Khawab Ki Surat�. In spite of the fact that he essentially remained a television artist � appearing also in numerous private productions � he also performed in movies, such as �Biwi Ho To Aisi�, �Talash�, �Rubi�, �Aisa Bhi Hota Hai�. His funeral prayers will be held at Imambargah Yasreb in Defence after Zohrain. He will be buried in the Defence graveyard.

We have five Sindhi TV channels now. In India viewer ship of KTN is on top level. Young generation of Indian Sindhis now seeing Sindhi dramas, songs, movies and other magazine programs of Sindhi TVs. Indian Sindhis are very ahead from us in talent of TV dramas, movies & songs. Sindhi TVs has need to get Sindhi programs from India. (original Sindhi drama & Sindhi movies) Asha Chand gave many Sindhi programs or Sindhi songs to KTN TV. We hope Sindhi TV channel will try to get more & more Sindhi programs from Indian Sindhis in original Sindhi language not translated or dubbed.
